There were so many birds in that old, grown tree. Birds of every shape and size, inside out birds and upside down birds and birds that had to look sideways to catch a full breath and beautiful birds so vain they were not even good enough for themselves. Some birds had so many brothers and sisters and some birds were so old they had no one left at all. The 2 little, brave girls would sneak up to the tree real quite like and from a nice perch in the tree tops they would spy on all the serious and silly things of that court of birds. It was a very special place that they left a very secret place.
